EARLS COURT local patrolling

Dear Residents,

Earls Court officers have been out on pedal bikes today, patrolling across the ward, meeting and speaking with many wonderful members of our community.

We would like to thank residents who have shared valuable information with us this week regarding anti-social behaviour (ASB) across the ward. This intelligence has already led to ASB warning notices being issued to individuals involved in shoplifting, information being gathered regarding squatters in Hogarth Place, and intelligence being received relating to drug activity. All of these matters are being taken seriously and will continue to be addressed over the coming shifts.

For crime prevention purposes, we would also like to make residents aware of a suspect seen in the area today and surrounding streets. The suspect was wearing a dark grey tracksuit and a black balaclava and was riding a black electric bike with purple trim. The individual was attempting to steal mobile phones from members of the public. Officers on bikes gave chase but were unsuccessful in detaining the suspect.

Unfortunately, the suspect later stole a mobile phone in High Street Kensington and was pursued further north of the borough. Additional criminal investigations are now ongoing.

Please remain vigilant and take extra care to protect your mobile phones and personal belongings while walking around the area.

We would also like to inform residents that plain-clothed proactive officers have been working in the ward today and successfully arrested a suspect on Nevern Road, SW5, who was wanted for theft. The individual is now in custody.
